Riyadh, Saudi Arabia – 22 Jan 2025 – New Murabba, a PIF company, has signed a memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the King Khalid Foundation to advance sustainable development initiatives across the Kingdom. The MOU was signed in Riyadh, by Her Highness Princess Nouf bint Muhammad bin Abdullah Al Saud, CEO of the King Khalid Foundation, and Michael Dyke, CEO of New Murabba.

This collaboration aims to enhance synergies between the private and non-profit sectors, leveraging the King Khalid Foundation’s sustainability and urban planning expertise. it will also focus on developing innovative solutions for sustainable technologies and green building practices, advocating for environmentally responsible initiatives locally and internationally, and strengthening sustainability capacities within the Kingdom, particularly in Riyadh.

Key initiatives include launching the first Green Building Hackathon, supporting green opportunity grants in Riyadh, researching sustainable urban development practices, and implementing programs centered on social entrepreneurship and innovation. Both organizations will establish a joint working group to oversee the execution of these initiatives, with designated association officers facilitating effective communication and coordination.

This MOU, effective for 12 months, reflects a shared commitment to advancing sustainable practices and collaborative efforts that align with the Kingdom’s vision for sustainability.
